La Sportiva Skwama Womens

Size:EU 35

The La Sportiva Skwama Womens is a soft and super sensitive, high performance velcro climbing shoe specifically designed for all kinds of terrain.

Built on a lower volume last to suit those with narrower feet, the La Sportiva Skwama Womens is a technical, high end performance shoe that is flexible enough to perform on both steep overhangs and slabs. Featuring an unlined upper that's built using a combination of micro-fibre and split leather, the shoe is both comfortable and able to hold its shape over the lifespan. The heel is similar to that used on the Solution allowing you to hook pretty much anything, whilst the forefoot incorporates a softer midsole and more asymmetric fit, capped off with the now familiar rubber toe patch.

Closure comes by way of a single Velcro strap, which offers multiple locking positions to suit a variety of foot sizes. The sole features the Vibram XS Grip2 which can provide grip on pretty much any surface, with a unique split forefoot sole piece to improve contouring to both the foot and the rock.

La Sportiva Skwama Womens

painful to break in but comfortable after a couple of climbs. nice for my wide-ish feet but have some space still around the top of my foot around my ankle which isn’t the end of the world as the heel is snug and no space in the toes. I had to size down from a size 5 uk to a 3.5 and they do stretch so more comfortable now. they have a nice point and edging capabilities aren’t as mediocre as the reviews say.

Best shoes EVER

I have been climbing for approx 2.5 years and hands down these are my absolute favourite pair of climbing shoes YET. I have had several pairs pairs of Scarpas and even the formidable La Sportiva Solutions. I wanted a shoe that still had some comfort but able to push my technical grade, the stiffness, toe edge is perfect for all my bouldering and training needs. I have only downsized by 0.5 and they are comfortable. My 2nd pair I have bought as I love this shoe SO MUCH. Thank you Rock and Run

Great shoes for bouldering

It is not my first pair of skwamas, but I can't recommend how many sizes down you should go. I know people who go 3 sizes down, but for me it is only 1.5 and I wouldn't be able to go down more.

These are great, quite soft shoes, with a great heel support. I only use them indoors and bouldering only. It has a great pointy shape, stretches quite a lot, which is a beneficial thing for me due to the foot shape.

I also have Otaki for ropes and outdoor, exactly the same size. It looks like you can just get the same size shoe as other La Sportiva shoes, it is quite consistent.
