Scarpa Golden Gate Kima RT

The Scarpa Golden Gate Kima RT is designed for performance on technical trails and fell running. This shoe optimises precision, and innovative technology in the sole reduces fatigue by heightening the elastic response of the arch.

The Kima RT ensures accuracy and support with a new last that eliminates excess volume in the forefoot. In addition to its excellence on uneven terrain, the Kima RT also performs well on less technical trails and smoother ground.

Use

Fell Running and technical terrain. The Golden Gate Kima RT is best suited to technical terrain but also performs well on smoother trails and general off-road running. 

Features

• UPPER: The double-layer construction is made from firstly a microfibre film that provide structure. And secondly, more external, is an anti-abrasion mesh that guarantees maximum breathability.
• FIT: A new last dedicated and studied for a normal foot, with less volume in the forefoot area for the best precision of fitting. Sock-Fit LW internal construction system that avoids compression points by wrapping the foot. Exo internal cage in micro suede to ensuring greater lateral stability.
• SOLE: Presa® TRN-03 is the sole with two zones of differentiated compound. The forefoot area is Supergum, which provides adaptability on both wet and dry terrain. In the heel area instead, is the new generation compound Water Lock that guarantees maximum performance when braking creates high sole stress. The Presa® sole has a midsole composed of a double density of foam, named “ACTIVE FOAM”. This new generation foam combines 4 important characteristics all the runners want in a shoe: cushioning, rebound, long last, lightweight. A 3D carbon fiber (1 mm thickness) is sandwiched in the two foam materials in the areas of greatest support/work of the foot (heel and head of the metatarsals). This is the result of a study aimed at obtaining the best elastic response without losing precision on uneven terrains.
