Wild Country Helium 3.0

The Wild Country Helium 3.0 is the latest incarnation of a carabiner widely regarded as one of the best wire-gates of all time. It's decent and ergonomics make it easy to handle (even with gloves on) and the wire gate trims weight down and slots into a niche at the nose for a clean profile that won't snag on slings, bolts, wires or ropes. This latest version has an improved gate design and mechanism, making it 5g heavier than the previous. That said it's still pretty light.

Wild Country says - In theory, metal parts have an unlimited shelf life, while the maximum lifespan or shelf life is 10 years from the date of production for soft materials such as the sling. In practice, their lifespan will depend on several factors, including how often and how intensively they are used, how they are stored and where you climb.
