The SNAP Hip is the perfect first crash pad for beginners, occasional climbers, and anyone looking for reliable protection at an accessible price point.

Built with a hard-wearing outer fabric and seamless edge construction, it’s designed to withstand regular use while maintaining long-term durability. The clever carry system keeps the shoulder straps positioned on top of the pad when opened, preventing them from touching the ground and picking up dirt. For added convenience, the straps attach with Velcro and can be removed completely while climbing.

Inside, a dual-density foam construction delivers dependable impact protection. The upper layer helps disperse and stabilise impact forces, while the lower layer provides cushioning for softer landings. A one-piece design creates a consistent landing surface across the entire pad, helping to eliminate gaps and uneven areas.

When it’s time to head home, the Hip rolls neatly in half for easy transport and storage.

Storage advice: To maximise foam performance and lifespan, store the pad flat and open whenever possible, rather than leaving it rolled for extended periods.
