Mega comfortable.
Quite possibly the most comfortable trainer I have ever put on and walked in. Fits like a glove with hiking socks on. Insanely good feel. Feels like true to size with just the right amount of space on the front for toes not getting too rubbed up once going downhill. I haven’t worn them going uphill/downhill, but from the walking I have in them on flat terrain for 15+ miles, they haven’t even caused me blisters anywhere, hence why I’m writing a very positive review. So it seems they barely need wearing in. Good grip on the outer sole, and not too soft or hard to walk on either. They’ll probably get quite sweaty on a day hike in the Alps or in Snowdonia being Gore-Tex I would imagine, but that’s a given in Summer season.
Overall, very happy customer here.

Great shoes, I am a 7.5 uk size but found the 42 too big (length)so elected to return and exchange for the 41. R&R were super helpful and on point for support , returns process was simple and had a replacement set of shoes within the week. Shoes are super comfy although if you are intending to wear these with big thick walking socks only I would suggest a 42 , Note: as the internal tongue comes down quite forward towards the roes the cushioning sensation can take a little to get accustomed to.

Really well made and look great, feel more like a boot than an approach shoe. Changing from CRUX to these might take a bit of getting used to, but can’t fault the quality despite the high price

Perfect fit and comfortable straight out of the box. Required no 'walking in' whatsoever. Grip wise, i've never had a pair of shoes that grip like these, wet or dry. Very, very pleased.
