The Black Diamond ATC Pilot Package combines the added security of the ATC Pilot with the strength and durability of a RockLock carabiner.

Giving you that extra bit of belaying security, this lightweight device is simplistic in that it has no moving parts, and its durable steel braking surface makes for a smooth, secure, controlled and gradual lower off.

The Pilot threads in a similar way to other manual devices and works best with ropes that are from 8.7-10.5mm in diameter. The perfectly placed thumb loop allows for easy and fast rope payout on lead, making it great for projecting at the wall as its less tiring for the belayer and more secure for the climber.
