Fixe Siurana 9.6mm

Rope Length: 60m

The Fixe Siurana 9.6mm is the ideal sport climbing rope thanks to its handleability, lightweight design and NATURE treatment which adds longevity to the rope.

Discover the iconic Siurana rope in Fixe's catalogue! Preferred by sport climbers for its adaptability and impressive performance, this rope's diameter is just right for bolted single-pitch routes. It's known for its incredible strength and durability, making it the top choice for conquering on-sight climbs and tackling projects. Even indoor climbing enthusiasts highly recommend it.

The Siurana goes hand-in-hand with routes like "La Rambla," "Kale Borroka," and "L Odi Social." These lines have turned the school in the Priorat region (Catalonia) into a world-class destination. Today, this climbing school has more than 2,000 bolted sport climbing routes. The crimp is the predominant grip in Siurana, and the climbing style is usually technical and demanding, with sequences that are often difficult to read on-sight.

Twisted Endurance Construction:A 48-wire braid extends the rope's lifespan and improves handling when compared to a lower braided rope.

This prolongs the life of the rope by more than 60%. (Fixe in-house abrasion testing studies have held up 300% longer than classic strings). Endurance construction gives ropes a nicer feel, greater fluidity, and the ability to withstand 30% more abrasion cycles.

Nature Treatment:This Means the rope is environmentally friendly and does not contain chemical treatments. Flexible and easy to handle in dry environments. 100% PFC-free.

    Another great rope from Fixie

I already have a Fixie Zen Half rope and have been really impressed. My climbing partners have all remarked on how well the rope handles. So, I had no hesitation in buying this rope (mainly for indoor use). Like the Zen this rope has a finely braided exterior and also handles beautifully . Can't comment on durability , but the sheath looks as though it will wear well.

Only used it a couple of times so far

So far very happy with this rope. I've only used it a couple of times, but it feeds well, doesn't get all twisted and has a lightweight, sturdy design that implies that it won't pick up a lot of dirt, and is less likely to snag on sharp bits of rock
