Petzl Tango 8.5mm 60m

Rope Length: 60m
Colour: Blue

The Petzl Tango 8.5mm diameter half rope is the ideal product for those looking for a solid, well handling multi-pitch rock climbing rope that won't break the bank.

Thanks to the thickness of its sheath, its flexibility and its durability, it works well with a range of belay devices and in all rigging situations.

The UltraSonic finish welds the core and the sheath as one, further improving durability and avoiding frayed ends. The Tango comes "ClimbReady" (lap coiled) meaning it's set for use straight out of the packaging. A Middle Mark helps further improve safety margins, and finally, the EverFlex (thermal) treatment stabilises the core strands and improves consistency of use over the life span of the rope.

The rope does its job. However, the durability is less than I thought. After three trad climbing routes, part of the rope started to worn out. I would recommend people buy rope with dry-treated technology.
