Sea to Summit Comfort Plus S.I Mat

Option: Regular

The Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Self Inflating Mat is a sleeping mat that combines the comfort of an air mattress with the support of a foam core, and includes the added extra of self-inflating technology.

Providing the most effective system for fine-tuning the level of comfort available in any air mattress today, the Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Self Inflating Mat uses 'Delta Core' technology - removing the optimal amount of foam to ensure the lightest mat possible, while also reducing the packed volume without sacrificing support or durability. A multi-function valve allows the mat to be rolled and stowed tightly without fighting re-inflation as you go, while diagonal supporting foam 'walls' help with structure once that mat is inflated.

For the added insulation, Sea to Summit use Exkin® Platinum, a quiet non-woven fabric, to reflect radiant heat loss back to the user and Thermolite® insulation to prevent convective heat loss between your body and the ground. An R-Value of 4.1 will keep you insulated throughout the year.

Below is a video from Sea to Summit detailing the features of the Comfort Plus S.I Mat range.

Features

  • Multi-function valve for easy inflation, deflation and fine tuning of air pressure
  • 30D stretch-knit fabric on the sleeping surface offers the right balance between comfort and durability, while extrusion laminated TPU is used on the base
  • Sea to Summit's TPU lamination process - one used in the medical and aeronautical industries but unique to the outdoor industry - is vastly superior to the roll-to-roll lamination process that is commonly used in outdoor products at present. The TPU bonds better and more consistently, virtually eliminating delamination issues
  • Comes with a quality stuff sack and a repair kit containing six self adhesive patches for repairing punctures in the field
  • Sea to Summit’s Comfort Plus mats should be used right side up. A Sea to Summit logo and size graphic are printed on the side of the mat that should be up when in use
  • Extended storage instructions: mat should be laid flat, folded as few times as possible with valves open
  • PillowLock attaches your Aeros pillow to your mat, holding it in place for a slip-free sleep

Sea to Summit Comfort Plus SI Mat

Very comfortable Mat, beats anything used to date. Self-inflation function is easy with no loss whilst in use. For light tracking the mat is more bulky than traditional mats but the comfort compensate for this.
