The Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Insulated Women's Mat is a female specific camping mat with a shape that is wider at the hip and narrower at the shoulder.
Combining a lightweight 30/40D Nylon fabric, Exkin Platinum® and THERMOLITE® insulation with a loop baffle Air Sprung Cell™ construction, the Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Insulated Mat is a 10cm thick mat with an incredibly low weight. Perfect for side sleepers, the extra height of this mat lets your hips sink deeper into it without touching the ground. The larger air pockets are created by using many looped TPU baffles which connect the top and bottom fabric layers with the Air Sprung Cell™ dot weld pattern. The looped baffles allow the top and bottom layers to be positioned further apart creating larger pockets of air when inflated that require less fabric overall. Making this mat both lightweight and comfy.

I was looking for a comfy pad to pair with my women’s Nemo Disco sleeping bag and this is the perfect shape mirroring it almost exactly. My old Big Agnes Rapide whilst comfy was too narrow at 20 inches, this one is 25 wide and 6ft long and as I’m 5ft 4 and a size 14 this seems super luxe; I can easily sleep on my side or stretch my arms above my head or at my sides without hitting the edges and having slept on it a couple of times didn’t once fall off! It did make some alarming noises when directly on the tent floor but once I hade put my Highlander reflective mat underneath and my sleeping bag on top this was completely resolved and barely makes a whisper when you sleep, certainly no nasty crisp packet noises! The cells work well and it only bottoms out if you kneel on it with one knee. The pump sack/case works perfectly and is much quieter than my Flextail pump which I might leave at home next time. It’s pretty much the same weight as my old Rapide Petite and much lighter than the regular wide Rapide that I nearly bought, though it does have a larger pack size that my old one but for the comfort and weight saving totally worth it. Also how nice to find an online offer with a shop where you could actually call and speak to a really knowledgeable and friendly member of staff, great service many thanks.
