The Climbing Technology CLICK UP is a manual braking belay device, designed for crag climbing and use with 8.6 - 10.5 mm single ropes.

Compact and lightweight, the Climbing Technology Click Up device allows the belayer to arrest a fall simply by holding the free end of the rope with the braking hand. The device also ensures effective belaying even if the rope is incorrectly installed in the device (the strands of the rope are inverted) thanks to specific V-shaped, tapered, friction notches.

I’ve just started climbing so my experience is limited but the click up is great. Very safe and easy to use.

Bought the original version as had been advised it worked better than the new version. Easy to use and rope runs easily through it so less likely to lock up if the leader pulls rope than grigri. Appears to twist the rope more. Delivery from Rock Run was very quick.
