Using lightweight In-Mould construction, the Meteor combines an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam liner with a durable polycarbonate shell to create a helmet that balances comfort, impact protection and low weight for all-day wear. Large ventilation ports deliver excellent airflow, helping keep you cool on steep summer rock routes, long mountain approaches and demanding alpine ascents, while the sleek low-profile fit sits comfortably whether you're climbing indoors or moving fast through technical terrain.

Built to Petzl’s TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION design standards, the Meteor provides enhanced coverage around the sides, front and rear of the head, giving added confidence for rock climbing, mountaineering and multi-pitch objectives. The semi-rigid adjustment system allows quick, secure fit changes even when wearing gloves, while front clips and a rear elastic strap make it easy to attach a head torch for alpine starts, winter epics or late descents.

At just 225–240g depending on size, the Petzl Meteor is a superb choice for climbers, mountaineers and fast-moving mountain users seeking a comfortable, lightweight climbing helmet for everything from indoor walls and gritstone crags to big mountain routes and alpine missions.
