Black Diamond HotWire Quickdraw

1 review   |

Black Diamond's lightweight and highly adaptable quickdraw features the updated HotWire wiregate carabiners - which use a hot-forged design for lighter-weight construction and a larger rope-bearing radius. This provides better durability on both the carabiner and your rope.

The HotWire Quickdraw gives full wiregate performance at a value price. Featuring two updated HotWire wiregate carabiners that utilise a hot-forged lightweight construction and boast a larger rope-bearing surface for greater durability on both the carabiner and your rope, the HotWire Quickdraw comes with a durable 12 or 16 cm length, 18mm Polyester Dogbone which features our Straitjacket insert that keeps the bottom biner in the optimal clipping position, and a coloured bottom biner for a visual target while climbing.

  • A pair of hot-forged HotWire carabiners on the top and bottom
  • Coloured bottom HotWire carabiner for visual target while climbing
  • Dual wiregates reduce the chance of gate flutter
  • Equipped with an 18 mm polyester dogbone with Straitjacket

Very basic but that’s all you need sometimes

Rock & Run customer service is always great, and shipping is rapid! I purchased the QuickDraw just for clipping things to my bag or attaching my bag to other items. It’s perfect for that use. It’s a bit basic and maybe a bit flimsy for anything else, and I certainly wouldn’t want to put too much weight on it as the gate clips are quite thin. The carabiners have a tendency to spin around in the webbing. These are minor observations and don’t detract from my intended use.
