Black Diamond Reactor

The Black Diamond Reactor is a leash-less, technical ice axe designed for pure ice climbing, in particular all-day pitches on frozen waterfalls.

With its open pick angle and leash-less design, and featuring a steel head with an aluminium side plate, the Black Diamond Reactor is totally optimised for ice climbing. Compatible with the BD alpine hammer and the alpine adze, the tool’s extruded aluminium shaft is combined with a dual density grip that is adjustable to fit all sizes of hands. The Reactor comes ready with the BD Natural Ice Pick.
