The Scarpa Arpia is an all-round climbing shoe that combines performance with a high level of comfort.
Designed especially for climbers who want to step up to their first high performance shoe, the Scarpa Arpia is able to perform in any situation, from indoor walls to multi-pitch climbs. A new, medium fit FK last and the slightly down turned and moderately asymmetric shape on a full length Dynamic 1.4mm Flexan insole, provides great instant comfort, whilst the Wave-Closure-System enables great adjustability and easy access.

Bought these on recommendation from a friend saying how comfortable they were for a performance shoe. They do have a more precise feel compared to the Scarpa Force which I thought was great anyway. Despite minimal breaking-in they climbed really well and were fairly comfy on short steep conglomerated sport climbs. I have yet to try them on Scottish and alpine trad but may not be my first choice for longer mountain routes though a great shoe for cragging!
Very much enjoying this shoe, big upgrade from my previous pair. I’m an intermediate climber and the sole has a good curve and the toe and heels are strong. I went for my street shoe size and they fit tightly. Used inside and outside.
