This is our Rock+Run Essentials range. Having been in business since 1983, we've come to appreciate what climbers, hikers, runners and campers really want from their kit - high quality, cost effective products that do exactly what they say on the tin.
The Scarpa Vapour V Women's is a versatile, comfort orientated performance climbing shoe, designed for all styles of climbing.
This version of the ever-popular Vapour V is a performance rock shoe built around the FR last which is the lowest volume of all the range, with a slightly asymmetrical, slightly down turned shape and a medium to low angled toe box to strike a balance between confident smearing and refined toe power. The new microfibre upper and the new tongue marry perfectly with the redesigned Velcro straps for an instantly comfortable fit and secure heel hold. A full length Talyn midsole works with the bi-tension rand system to offer the optimum level of support. Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber ensures precise edging.
As with all the modern performance Scarpa's, the Vapour V provides reliably similar sizing - i.e. if you are a 42 in the Vapour Lace, Instinct Lace/Slipper, Boostic etc. you should be a 42 in the Vapour V.

The shoes have definitely upped my climbing game and they're nice and sticky. Initially a bit uncomfortable but now I could wear them for hours! They do fart a bit at times though as I think they're a slightly wide for my feet 🤣
Bought these for the girlfriend as her “beginner” Boreals weren’t good enough.
She loves them and she climbed even better now.
Excellent customer service from rock run as always.
Since using these shoes my confidence in my foot work has improved loads! They feel secure on small foot holds and volumes (I hate volumes!!). Only a couple of criticisms, the Velcro on the very end of the straps don’t stick anymore (doesn’t cause an issue) and they make my feet fart (also not a problem just embarrassing). But overall I like them. Not too aggressive.
I bought these as a next step shoe after using some flatter shoes for my first 6 months climbing. I love these - they’re nice and snug and I can be a lot more precise. I got them half a size down from my normal shoes and that seems right to me. Hurt my toe knuckles a bit to start with but wore in quickly. Nice colours too!
