This is the 2016 edition of Climbing Without Frontiers covering Istria, the peninsula of northern Croatia on the Adriatic coast. The crags covered include Slovenian and Italian territories.
The Adriatic Coast - Istria: Italy - Slovenia - Croatia guidebook is written in German and English languages, as well as the three local languages of Italian, Slovenian and Croatian. There are both drawn and photo-topos showing routes across a wide range of grades, on quality rock.
The guidebook is split into the three main climbing areas of the seaside region of Sistiana in the Gulf of Trieste; over Osp and Crni Kal towards the hinterland of Istria; and to the walls of Vranjska Draga at the foothills of Ucka, reaching the eastern coast at Brsec. In total 31 climbing areas are covered with more than 2800 routes.
