Beastmaking

Beastmaking by Ned Feehally is a modern training book for "normal" climbers, helping to lead the way into the world of climbing training without being over-faced by over-technical jargon and impossible to keep to regimes for the average person.

Written by Ned who is an extremely accomplished climber, plus co-founder of Beastmaker, gives the reader a great deal of confidence in the tips and training advice given. In addition to Ned, there are plenty of tips and insights from other top climbers including Alex Honnold, Shauna Coxsey, Adam Ondra, Alex Puccio and Tomoa Narasaki.

This book is easy to pick up and read, take a look at some of the sample pages and see for yourself. Beastmaking covers the basics of training, detailed information on your fingers and grip positions. This leads onto training exercises on fingerboards, walls and pull-up bars. Ned is known for his flexibility, so no surprise that there is an entire chapter to this aspect of training.

Beastmaking will no doubt be on many a bookshelf providing helpful advice to many climbers over the years and is recommended for anyone interesting in even the smallest amount of training for climbing.
