Red Chili Voltage 2

Size: UK 6.5

The Red Chili Voltage 2 is a down-turned, Velcro closure climbing shoe for steep bouldering and sport climbing, designed spaciously to suit wider, higher volume  feet.

Offering a spacious fit and designed not to squash the feet and toes, the Red Chili Voltage has its own unique last, for maximum hold, precision and performance on steep ground without crippling your feet. The upper will hold its shape over time thanks to the low-stretch synthetic leather used throughout, and the opposing Velcro straps give excellent hold.

The sock-like design prevents rubbing and pressure points and makes the VOLTAGE comfortable despite its aggressive shape. Thanks to the elastic, knitted fabric tongue, the foot is better ventilated.

An all-encompassing Vibram XS-Grip outsole provides as much grip as current technology will allow, whilst a large opening and big twin pull-loops make for easy on-off.

Sizing

We found the fit is actually pretty regular, but does sway towards those with a wider/high volume forefoot.

    odd feet!

Ok, followed the size guiding after trying on a pair of demo shoes in the same size (EU 42) and whilst my (smaller) right foot is fine, the left foot (half a size larger) is in excruciating pain and it's also very difficult to get the shoe on my foot in the first place.

    Higher end but still comfortable

These shoes fit me comfortably, I went with my standard climbing Shoe size (1 size down from trainers)
