A secure way to clip your ice axes and tools to your harness while abseiling or placing protection, the Black Diamond Ice Clipper is multi-functional, lightweight and indispensable, and brings new meaning to the word convenience. Racking screws, Spectres and ice tools, this clipper is lightweight and works with most harnesses. It is however non load-bearing.
Do exactly as they should. Stay in place through my clipper loops and rack gear or tools nicely.
I bought two black diamond ice clippers and two petzl ones. The black diamond were £2 more expensive and one is faulty. The fully functioning one is fine but for £2 less i'd suggest the petzl are better value for money, they feel more robust too.
