"I Bought these socks to combat cold feet cycling in the Lakes wet winter. They served their purpose and then some, having kept my feet warm well below 0°C on rides lasting several hours. They’re warm with a snug, cosy fit. Impressively they look and feel nearly new after a dozen or so trips through the wash caked in mud, grit and other bridleway debris. I’ll definitely be looking at the over calf version for use in winter mountaineering boots too." - Matt

I've been using these through the winter as my go to sock for cycling. On the road bike they're good, but out on my mountain bike where they end up soaking wet most days, they've been great. I've used them from about +8 to -6oc and they've beaten the worst of the cold every time. Having been through the wash at least a dozen times, often with grass, mud and twigs still attached these socks still look like new.
