The Northern England Rockfax book is a selected climbing guide covering Yorkshire grit, North York Moors sandstone and the dolorite and sandstone of Northumberland.
Ccovering the best routes and crags from all these three areas, the Northern England guide gives brief coverage of the bouldering available on many venues, but the main focus of the book is the routes. In all there are 38 different crags which are beautifully illustrated using the familiar Rockfax features of large photo-topos, accurate descriptions, detailed crag maps, route symbols, crag tables and graded lists.
Crags included Yorkshire - Pule Hill, Shooter's Nab, Heptonstall, Widdop, Earl Crag, Ilkley, The Chevin, Caley, Almscliff, Eastby, Crookrise, Rylstone, Simon's Seat, Brimham, Slipstones, Goldsborough Carr and Crag Willas.
