Wore these for the first time on a 24k day in Kintail and they were as comfortable at the end as the beginning. Light and supportive with great grip, although I will caveat that the conditions were tinder-dry so can't vouch for use in wet conditions nor give a view on waterproofness but, since the temperature was mid 20's all day and my feet were barely sweaty compared to usual, I reckon that the breathability is adequate.when new at least. I ran the last couple of K and they were great for this. All in all, delighted with these as they fill a bit of a gap in my boot collection between very lightweight approach shoe and full on B3s
These boots are an excellent fit straight out of the box. I first wore them on a 6 hours round walk up Snowdon and they felt great. The tread is very grippy. Brilliant boot. Good price.
I use La Sportiva for my winter boots, and also summer approach shoes and rock climbing shoes so when I needed a new pair of approach boots for the Scottish summer they were the natural choice. The fit is perfect for me, they are comfortable and flexible, grippy on rock and grass, these have performed really well and they are not heavy either. Good flexibility where you need it and stuff where you want it, a great boot that I highly recommend.
