The Black Diamond Cirque gaiter is a brilliant general purpose mid-height gaiter, providing waterproof breathable functionality and a tough overall construction.
The Black Diamond Cirque features a welded hard-shell outer and abrasion resistant patch for improved durability. Combine this with a waterproof BDry membrane and you have a gaiter which excels in everything from backpacking to mountaineering.

Worked well however, one of the rings near the bottom of the gaiter fell off after a few days use.
As yet I have had no need to wear these gaiters but judging by the quality, they should do what is asked of them. Will be able to say more after our trip to Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons in a months time.
Although I have not worn them yet, the quality is what one expects from this manufacturer. Also the service from Rock and Run is superb
