Franken 2 - Frankenjura

The Franken 2 - Frankenjura climbing guidebook is the 2020 edition volume 2 of the Frankenjura North series.

Internationally renowned, the Frankenjura area has an enormous selection of quality climbing routes - ranging from hidden small crags in the woods to the more famous lines pioneered by well-known names such as Wolfgang Güllich and Alex Megos (to name a couple). The area is so rich with opportunity that new lines are being created almost constantly, with a wealth of over 35 years of experience climbing in the Frankenjura rest assured that the authors have extensively researched the new routes added to this volume.

Including detailed hand drawn crag diagrams, loads more routes and detailed descriptions, it also provides plenty of general crag info. A must for Frankenjura experts and beginners alike.

Both volumes ("Franken 1" and "Franken 2") contain more than 900 routes and more than 650 cliffs. The hand drawn, reality-like, detailed topos (each one a small work of art) give a good idea of the line of the routes and scale of the crag.
